As a professional photographer, I think its really important to always be looking to improve my skills. Photography is a craft to be nurtured and cherished and I can only provide the very best for my clients if I continue to improve and update my skills.
I work very closely with the Guild of Photographers, a UK trade body which mentors photographers and provides assurance to clients that my work is of a high professional standard. I also look to attend workshops with fellow professionals to learn new tricks of the trade.
As part of my continuing professional development, I recently attended a a workshop hosted by Nina Mace, a former winner of the Guild of Photographer’s family and children’s photographer of the year. Nina has a distinct, bold style and it was great to meet her and gain a few insights and tricks of her trade.
The tricks I learnt had a big impact on my client sessions. Visit Nina’s website here.
Here’s a selection of images from the session in Manchester last week. Hope you like them!
